Should I panic?

I recently filed AOS for my 10yr old son. I received the receipt notice today but I realized no A-number was generated for him. I checked back on my receipt notice and I realized one was generated for me at the time I got my notice. Should I be worried? My email said that the case was transferred to Harrisonburg storage center, clueless to where that is.

The I-797s for his I-130 don’t have a USCIS or A(lien) number?

In my experience, I've never seen the i130 approval notice with the beneficiary A-number. It usually has the A number for petitioner which that is what I saw as his step-dad is naturalized.

I wasn’t just asking about the approval notice.

Regardless odd then that I-485 asks for the alien number of person filing I-485.

Anyway is it possible you didn’t actually get an I-797 for his I-485 and instead got something similar to that depicted in:

I got that in email. I got the printed i797c via mail regarding his i485 receipt notice and the 765 because I wanted to get his SSN before GC

Did he get biometrics? No alien number on his biometrics?

If you sent his I-130 approval or receipt or case number with his I-485 then I don’t see a reason to panic.

I was just about to type that I just checked his case status and saw that his biometrics was scheduled yesterday. So when I receive the notice, then I'll report back to vj with this information. I am unable to add him to my uscis account because I need an access code in order to do so
