Clarifying CR1 Process for Expedited Case after DQ

NVC told us the Embassy is willing to expedite our case once we're DQ'd. What will the process look like for an expedited CR1 case at Manila after DQ these days?

Trying to understand the sequence of events - do we schedule our own appointment? At what point can we do that? What will we be waiting for exactly after we are DQ'd (interview letter? CEAC to say the case is at the Embassy instead of NVC?)

Expedite Only!   NVC does not schedule your interview.  You will receive a letter/email from the embassy with your interview date and even a date/time for the medical at SLEC.  (New process as of 2/26/2020)   Expedites can no longer schedule their own interview.

Watch your CEAC status, once it shows READY means the embassy has your case file and will be completing your interview processing .. be patient.

With that said, once your CEAC shows READY I would suggest to call the embassy.

To check your current status click here > CEAC

Link to the process here (some things have changed slightly because of the beer virus but this is the order of things to be accomplished)

Thanks. So it is basically saying the process is to sit back and wait for the Embassy to schedule your medical and interview, but I wonder if this is still accurate with all that has happened since 2/2020.

Any CR1 expedited folks been through it recently?
