So our I-130 has been expedited at NVC Stage last February 15. Upon checking at Ceac our statys shows “In Transit”. I was just wondering, if do we have to schedule my appointment or do we just wait for an email from the embassy? My husband is due to PCS this March and just feeling like we are running out of time.

When your status changes to “ready”,  you can follow the embassy steps for cases— Petition approved by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in London. You may be a mix of doing some processing at NVC already but   there is no written instruction for expedites so you are most like the cases following the first set of steps on this page, which says how to schedule your own interview.

It says wait for a letter from London, but you don’t need the letter. Look for a “ready” status and that means your case is in London. If you don’t get into the appointment site the first day, wait a day and try again. Sometime there is a delay in the system. Make your medical appointment by phone today if you already have your police certificate, immunizations (including 2 covid jabs), and your medical summary from your GP. Otherwise get those things needed for the medical.
