K1 Embassy interview

Hello y’all 

I received an email from the embassy  to start scheduling my interview appointment but haven’t received another letter from NVC instructing me to pay for Affidavit of support and uploading all documents. It seems the embassy is a head of NVC.. Should I proceed with paying embassy visa fees and schedule my medical and appointment.? 

what should I do?

I’ve never heard of K-1 cases uploading docs or paying fees to NVC.

Can you please clarify 'pay for Affidavit of Support'? For K-1s, the only payment before the interview is the MRV fee. NVC uploading is for CR-1/IR-1 visas, not K-1 visas. The documents are shown in-person during the interview.
