K-1 Ready Status Philippines

Hello everybody! So on 09FEB2022 our case status shows 'Ready' for K-1 VISA in Philippines. I have a few questions.
-Can we not submit the DS-160/Fees until my fiancé receives a package in the mail from the Embassy?
-Is the interview scheduled by the Embassy or by us on the website? 

-How long is the typical wait before we hear something from Manila Embassy after the case arrives there?

No need to wait.  Submit the DS-160, pay the MRV fee, book the interview via the online scheduling page, then complete the medical exam at SLEC.

You can proceed with everything. You may never hear from the embassy.

Once you get the "Ready," its all you. Don't wait for the embassy, as they will not send you anything or prompt you.  Do as Chancy typed: "Submit the DS-160, pay the MRV fee, book the interview via the online scheduling page, then complete the medical exam at SLEC."
