Hello,

I was hoping for good advice. I recently applied for my spouse through the I130 application online. I realized I missed one check box. Can someone help me in what I can do to correct this?

thank you so much

Ummm.  Might be able to give a better comment if you help us with “which box you missed”! 🤪

Oh that’s right I completely missed that. It was page 9, petitioners statement, box 1.a. “I can read and understand English, and I have read and understand every question and instruction on this petition and my answer to every question.”

Yes I also filed online on October 8, 2021 USC and I and just worried because it’s been a long wait and depressing.

Don’t worry. Seems like a common thing with online filling. I haven’t seen a single person who got rejected because of it. As long as there is a signature, we should be fine.

Hi have the same issue and I was gonna write and amendment to them regarding about that check box “I can read and understand English, and I have read and understand every question and instruction on this petition and my answer to every question.” Any update on this?
