Hello

I have submitted I-130 for my parent recently, but I am wondering if she can apply for a visit visa while waiting for her I-130? And does that hurt in any way? Thank you for your informed response.

Hi! In 2011 ,while waiting for my spousal visa we asked USCIS if we can apply for the tourist visa. And they said No and we just have to wait for the spousal visa to get approved. Best Wishes to you.

You might qualify for an Interview Waiver visa renewal.

If not, there is probably a long wait for tourist visa interviews.

Thank you for the information, may be I should ask uscis.

Fairly pointless, they do not handle Tourist Visas

Your risk is the application fee.
