My med exam was in june 13. i called st lukes the day before my appointment to ask if it is okay to have the exam since it is my red days. The one who answered asked when it would end and i said i was expecting it to end on the 14th. He told me then to come to st. lukes at 3pm on the 13th and they accept applicants until 4pm. He added also that i will have my x-ray, blood and urine test only and all other test will be done when i am cleared.

On the 13th, i went to st lukes at 3pm and i had my digital photo taken, chest-xray, blood and urine test. The nurse at the laboratory told me that i will have my urine test even if i still have it because it is only a pregnancy test (funny!!! the test surely was negative). After that she instructed me to proceed to the US counter even f i couldnt have my physical exam that day because of the red days so i proceeded there as instructed. The nurse at the US counter took my vital signs and had my eye exam too then she told me to come back in the afternoon the next day to make sure that i am cleared of my red days and she wrote "PE after menses" on my papers and told me to show my papers to the guard when i come back and i would be given instruction where to go. My first day was finished smoothly at 5:10pm and i didnt have to wait long in every test i had taken.

The next day which is the 14th, i went back to st lukes in the afternoon at 3pm again. I showed the guard my papers and he told me to go directly to the US counter. I was lucky i didnt have to wait to have my physical exam. The doctor interviewed me. She asked me what degree i finished, if i was hospitalized before, if i had given birth already and other health related issues. From there i proceeded to the immunization department and still i didnt wait long.

The doctor asked me about my vaccination history and thanks GOD i still have my chicken pox scar so i was given only one shot which is the MMR. From the immunization department i proceeded to the ground floor for the releasing and there i had to endure the very long wait. I was finished at 6:25pm.

the nurses and doctors i encountered at st. lukes are all nice.

and GOOD LUCK to all forthcoming med exam!!!
