221g letter for K1 Visa

My fiance had interview on 08/13/21 at Mumbai consulate. She was given 221g letter asking for more information like chat records, phone records, bank transfers, marriage plans etc.. All documents were submitted on 10/14/21. As of today, case status is "Refused".  Generally, how long it takes to receive a final decision after submitting documents? When should we expect to receive a final decision from the consulate?

There is no guaranteed timeline, unfortunately.  I suggest you contact the consulate regularly to follow up on the status of the case.  You may also reach out to your congressperson to inquire about the case on your behalf.
