As I mentioned earlier, your petitioner can try contacting their congressman asking for help

The only thing he can contact about is refund for DS260 fee which DOS has never refunded imo. OP aged out when his PD became current so nobody can issue the visa under F2A.

To OP, your lawyer screwed you up in terms of providing hope for the visa since he should have known in Feb 2019 that you are not eligible for the visa under F2A. It's his mistake.

That was exactly the issue, as they substract from your age just the time that USCIS was processing the case, not the time that passed AFTER the PD becomes current.

Not sure if you can do something regarding the 2 years delay from when the PD was current to when the actual interview was scheduled.

As I mentioned earlier, your petitioner can try contacting their congressman asking for help.

There is nothing a Congressman can do.  The time between the PD becoming current and the interview date had no impact.  He aged out 28 days before the PD became current.

If it was your lawyer's fault you can report/file a complaint against him/her.

Yes but this not help me with my case.

I feel your frustration but unfortunately there is nothing you can do to fix the issue.

Even when it is a federal agency's fault, it is very difficult, expensive and would take a long time to get them accept they made a mistake.

In your case, they did not make a mistake. It was your lawyer, so he is the one you should hold liable, though certainly that would not make your problem go away.

Anyone is free to write to the President, but it will not help you.  And no exceptions will be made when the denial is due to an error made by you, or your lawyer.

U,  not the lawyer,  are responsible for the petition

u r suppose to read thru the petition before signing and make sure all is ok

if u signed it and it is wrong (any mistake) then u pay a big price for aging out

If I hire attorney for fill up petition he has to make it right and don't make that mistake and don't check cspa. Me like mostly of immigrants don't know a law...
