Not DIY.  Get a good immigration lawyer.  Your father is going to need a waiver.

Why was your father deported with a 20 years ban?  Was he convicted of an aggravated felony?

Did your father ever get marry in the US?

aaron2020 he was petition as single but already married with 3 kids when he entered the US. Immigration sent him a removal letter few years prior to his deportation since he's going back and fort to his home country to visit us,he never recieve the removal letter since he change his address and did not notify the immigration, few years after prior on entering the US port of entry they hold him and informed him about the removal issue.  he never marry anyone in the US.

He no doubt also has a lifetime ban for misrepresentation

His wife or parents should sponsor him

Sounds like he came over on some family-based visa that required him to be single but he thought he could game the system and lied saying he was single when he was married. Thus his green card was revoked, he was deported, and now he has a misrepresentation on his record.

He was banned for 20 years so he can wait out the ban or you can file for him and he will be told at the interview if a waiver is available.

Used to see quite a few of these , this is the first one for some time

Your dad lied for an immigration benefit - a material misrepresentation.

This is not DIY.  You need a good immigration lawyer versed in waivers.

Hello.Anybody can help me. I am in the process of petitioning my dad.The petition was already approved and already on the NVC and i dont know whats my next step since my dad have deportation history. My dad had been deported  and been out of the US for almost 15 years already. 20 years deportation is on his record because of 1.  fraud/misrepresentation (he was petitioned single came in the states married/concealed his marital status) and 2.seek admission without prior consent to reapply for admission (he was ordered for removal but unfortunately did not recieve the letter because  the letter was mailed on his old address)he went back to his home country then immigration officer got a hold of him in the airport. The deportation happened on 2008 and he voluntary exit, he signed and withdrawn his application for readmission. I'm having difficulty what waiver should he use now that my petition was already approved. Can me and my dad do this process alone or hiring a lawyer will definitely needed. THank you

It would be reasonable to assume you will need a Lawyer. Well I am unclear as to exactly what happened, the way you wrote the story is confusing.

Perhaps the most important question is does he have a wife or parents that are USC's or Permanent Residents whose hardships can be used for a waiver?

I suppose he might as well go through with it now, everything you have implied suggests he will not be getting a visa.
