My wife and I applied for the I-130 visa to bring her over to the US...shes an Australian citizen and I'm the American. My question is ,what should we be doing while waiting for that visa to be approved. We are in the process of getting the kids nationalized, but in that time that we are waiting is there anything else we should be getting in order?

Thanks  in advance

Brian

Study the NVC process well and follow the information given there. Become familiar with the Federal Police check required ..  some documents can be gathered now .. birth/marriage certificates ( get 4-5 of each as they are way easier to get when you are still in Oz) .. but some things like the police check are time sensitive so dont get them until the I130 has bern approved and sent the petition to the NVC

Fill out your timeline as that helps us answer questions you might ask .

Good luck !!
