Hi Guys,

I’m the beneficiary for a K1visa , I recently got a traffic ticket drunk driving ( 1st time)  , Do you think I’m going to have problem with that in my embassy interview?
I’m from Panama, in my country drunk driving it’s not a criminal offense so Here you just get a traffic ticket ($150) and suspended license 2 month,  No Jail , no court , no papers. This type of tickets doesn't appear in the criminal records of my country! In the same way I have all the intentions to disclosure this information but I just wanna know, if I can be inadmissible for this.

If I recall correctly, you will need to disclose all arrests and citations?  I am not sure about the second part, but I know many disclose even speeding tickets in their applications.

For immigration, you will need to show good moral character, which in most cases is showing you have committed no crimes.  Here's a list of things that USCIS considers:

From what you described, versus the examples in the above list, it should not affect your case.  However, I would stick with the plan to disclose it on your applications, because "false testimony under oath" is definitely a bar to immigration.  And I believe everything you disclose on the I-129F and DS-160 are considered "under oath".
