Leo Strauss. Loves America. Hates the constitution ;)

Exactly how I feel.

?

I am not really a fan of the open ended constitution. A constitution which is now being misinterpreted to suit special interest groups own agenda.

God forbid anyone draw the conclusion that that must mean you hate America.

Strauss believes that the constitution can be done away with if its deemed in the national interest. Explains a lot of current policy-making.

What defines this nation without having a prevailing set of unchanging and inaliable rights defined in words?

i still think having options..............

Having options is not uniquely American, but I would agree it is certainly crucial to the prinicipals our Constitution.

God forbid anyone draw the conclusion that that must mean you hate America.

Never realized that talking about improving something equated to hating it.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.
