What I found helpful for screenshots was to put 4 on a page. First, I named the files in a consecutive manner (by date but you could just do simple numbering). I put all of these in the same folder then highlighted them all > right clicked > print. The default Windows print software will open and give you options including 4 per page. You can then save this as a PDF to print later if you wish. Just make sure they turn out in the correct order, I had to play with this a bit to get it to display correctly.

 

In terms of what to include: I made sure to include conversations that hit on certain subjects included elsewhere in the petition. I also tried to provide at least one chat from every month (but I still left plenty out).

Best to provide examples of how and how frequently you communicate.  Two screen shots a month is plenty and you can put maybe three months per page.  I would skip months.  It's just examples.

Personally, I decided to use screenshots from within the app (instead of the text log) since it would be more difficult to manipulate. I figured this would give it a tiny bit more credibility. Of course someone with basic Photoshop skills could still manipulate those, so it probably doesn't matter. 

 

I would agree though it's important to show constant contact over time vs. just one time period. So I would space it out to cover as many months as possible. Just sample the conversations so you don't have 30 pages total.

The problem with screenshots within the app they won’t show years only date and month .i notice it’s like a year after they start showing years. So how did you do it. Can you show me an example here ?

This might vary between versions of the app. On my Android phone it pretty clearly says the full date (month day, year) at the beginning of every day's chat. Also if I start to scroll up (to look through past chats), as soon as I pull my finger down a grey box at the top says the full date. Basically I just started to scroll and then immediately took a screenshot wherever I needed the date to be. Maybe dig through the app settings?

When you scanning your passport stamps on a word doc. Does it matter if it’s color or black and white ?

I prefer color just in case and I make it as pdf file

I've always gone black and white, as if it was a photocopy -even pictures-.
