Unfortunately what you went through is pretty common: people receiving RFE's requesting exactly what they already sent. 

I personally don't get how that happens as the procedure requires scanning each document. So even if the physical documents were lost, they do have the digital files. 

 

Though with some delay, I'm glad you finally got your GC.

Thank desertsun for sharing your experience. We recently had a similar experience wherein I received RFE for more evidence. However, in my case they didnt list the docs they already received but specified not to resend any evidence that they already have. Since it has been 2 years since we originally filed and had a change of primary residence since, we just sent newer documents. They have received the evidence a week ago. Now fingers crossed, hope they process soon.
