Any way to correct an error shortly after submitting i485?

Really dumb mistake, but is there any way to contact USCIS and try to correct the item below?

We filed last week from a K1. In our rush to get things out I noticed for part 2, #3, under receipt number of underlying petition we put “n/a” instead of putting the i129f WAC #. We did submit the I 797c approval of the i129f. Is there a way of contacting USCIS to correct this, or will we just have the application rejected?

There's no way to correct mistakes once you've mailed your packet.

But I doubt your application will be rejected.

You might receive an RFE once they get to review your case which will happen some months from now. That will delay processing a little.

Yea I’m hoping that whoever is looking at the i485 can see we attached the i129f approval and selected the adjustment from a K1 option and put two and two together.

Very frustrating considered we chose to do AOS by ourselves after our lawyer filed an i129f riddled with typos and slowed down our entire process, and we are essentially doing the same thing now.

Hopefully that will be the case.

Glad you chose to do it yourself rather than paying someone just to mess things up.

And don't worry too much; an RFE for such a simple thing would delay approval just a few weeks.
