When do i have to fill up the I864?

You can find information about the affidavit of support on the official government website.. https://www.uscis.gov/i-864

Also, you can check out the VJ guide.

I-130 petition is only the first step of a long process.  The financial sponsorship, via an I-864, is not submitted until the NVC stage, which will be about a year after filing the I-130.  Review the I-864 and instructions on the USCIS website to learn all about it so you will be prepared to submit it a year later.  Good luck!

At the interview stage the CO will also expect u to know the cost of health care insurance in your state and whether u can afford it

so check into this cost along with cost of any medications they may take regularly like for diabetes as insulin in now rather costly (just a sugestion)

Thanks. Will I, the petitioner, also need to give an interview? I thought only the beneficiary needed to give one.
