Event though I had to resubmit papers from husband of joint sponsor on friday we got DQ'd today.

So no putting us back in line.

Can you explain your situation a little bit more? Did you get an RFE last week? What was the message?

Last friday they informed me that the papers (I 864A) of the husband of our joint sponsor were filed under the wrong heading and therefore rejected.

I had put it under 'other documents' while I had to put it together with the joint sponsor's docs.

 

So not really a rfe.

 

Put it in the right place and expected it to set us back another 3 months.

So, much to my surprise I had an email this morning that all forms are accepted and they are setting up an appointment with the consulate in Amsterdam.

This is great news, congratulations! Did you actually call the NVC for clarification at all or just uploaded the document?

Just uploaded and submitted the forms again under the right heading.

You mean put I864A on addtional docs of main sponsor right and got rejected?

Yes I did put it under additional docs of main sponsor and it got rejected.

But I submitted it right away under the name of the joint sponsor and today it got accepted.

Pffff the stress!!!!

OMG!! I do the same as you. I put joint sponsor under additional docs of main sponsor.
So you just add the button "add Household member" and upload docs right?

Mine was about the husband of our joint sponsor (form I 864A)

Yes. just add household member, upload and don't forget to submit as well.

Household member has to be put under joint sponsor's name.

 

But if you put everything from joint sponsor under main sponsor's additional docs you have to put it under button 'add joint sponsor'

Congratulation 😀... I got DQ today. Pretty much the same thing happened to me. I do not know if i should call it a RFE but yesterday they asked me to upload the entire i864 (i didn't add the last two pages the first time, i thought they were not important while empty). As soon as i got that notification i uploaded a new one. and the submission date didn't change at all. I was so scared about going back on line 😔.

 

This is my timeline:

Dec 10 : Sub Applicant Doc

Jan 28 : Sub Sponsor Doc

Feb 20: Sub Tax Transcript

March 15: Sub new photographs ( the old 1 didn't meet the requirement after checking online with some apps)

April 10 : Sub new PCC {i was scared that they might ask a new 1 because it should hav been expired after 3 months)

April 18 : RFE to upload a complete i864

April 18 : Sub new i864

April 19: DQ

 

i know waiting it is really stressful, wish good luck to everyone 🙏

What submission date did they go by? January 28? February 20? 

 

And did you write a note stating you were uploaded an updated PCC or did you just upload another one?

I think Jan 28... sub tax20 then tax21 on Feb under add doc.
