It's been 2 months now since we submitted RFE response, and still haven't gotten any updates. Hoping to hear back soon, I'm not sure if "receive a decision within 90 days from RFE response" holds true for AOS

Hello, I hope all of you are doing well. My fiancé came to us via k1 visa and we are getting married next month & planning to file after we get married.

I had question regarding all these forms. Can we file all these forms online? if yes can I please get the website (is it recommended to file online or on paper?)

Also my fiancée didn't get any i-94 in her passport and I am seeing that in the list for filling?

Thanks for your help.

Did you check USCIS website as well? I haven't received any mail updates from them after we've submitted RFE response, but they update the case status in about 10-12 days online. Now it's just the long wait.

Also, does anybody know how common is to get 2nd or 3rd RFE for a completely different thing?

Hi All,

Working on getting the documents ready for our interview for permanent residence next Thurs.

This is what I have so far (below). Am I missing anything? Do I need to provide much evidence of relationship prior to his arrival in the US, i.e. the evidence that was in the I-129f application? I am providing some pictures of our relationship from beginning to date.

Thanks for any feedback!

Documents taking to interview:

-I-485 application replica

-I-485 NOA2 (original and copy)

-Both passports (beneficiary and petitioner) and copies of bio page of both passports

-Copy of K-1 visa

-I-94

-Originals and copies of both our birth certificates

-Certified copy marriage certificate

-NOA1 EAD (don't think I need this)

-NOA1 Advanced Parole (again, don't think I need this)

Evidence of a relationship

-Health insurance (he is on my plan)

-Credit cards ( he is an authorized user)

-Phone plan with 2 lines

-Photos (focused heavily on time since his arrival -our wedding, photos at holidays with family and friends,  a few pictures of our relationship prior to his arrival)

Do you have a joint bank statement, lot of them were asked about it during the interview.

No, wish we did. Tried a few banks and I wasn't able to put him on my current accounts or open one together.  Mostly due to not having ssn; which is separate issue--we tried to get ssn too and couldn't get it.

My Husband has bank of america and was able to add me without ssn! Just for the credit card I needed a ssn so he added me later to that!
