around 1-2 weeks

Yes I did, I expedited in March and got a response couple of days ago. For which I sent the fax, it was based on the job offer. I also asked congressman since they were not reponding back to the expedite.

Yes, we are lucky and grateful. We'll take a win when we can get one. Hope the process starts moving along more quickly for everyone, especially since most of us have endured long timelines during COVID.

I'm not sure how big the Albuquerque Field Office is. Do you know how to find out?  NM population is small for being a large state (land wise) so maybe that's why.

there's a website used to show the size of the FO ( not the actual size of the office, but how many people work there etc ) , but it went down last year. im quite familiar with NYC because i used to live there and LA area because many people posted that one.

break a leg ! and keep us posted

I'm back with an update! We had our interview this morning at 9:30 and didn't even have to wait in the waiting room for long (less than 10 mins)

Agent was really nice and she said we got approved, tho will be waiting for the status update to make it 100% official!

Congrats (in advance)!

Can I ask how long the interview was and what kind of questions were asked?

Thank you!

It lasted about 30 minutes total, she asked how we met and how we handled the COVID situation (my k1 appointment got rescheduled 3-4 times), asked when we got married and where, asked us if we have any documents and pictures go give her to prove a bona fide marriage and after that was just the yes and no questions from the application really, all while doing some small talk (we talked about some tv show and about art exhibitions here in LA)

Then she asked if we have any questions, answered a couple I had then said she's going to approve us, what's going to happen after (applying in 2 years for the permanent card), made me sign a document and voila

Thanks for the info. I find it helpful to prepare. Again, congrats!

I have to say the Los Angeles office is working really really fast lately

My timeline, AOS family based:

02/16/22: petition received

02/22/22: NOA1

03/22/22: Biometrics taken
03/22/22: Appointment scheduled for April 19th 2022 in Los Angeles field office

Got the approval notification today, so overall 2 months from filling to approval. I'm still incredibly amazed how fast this has all been.

I hope that those still stuck will get their interview soon and for everyone who filed in February aswell!
