Re-establish domicile to U.S.

The simplest option - which may not be the most palatable for you - is for you to fly over on your own ASAP - set up a bank account, get a drivers license, get a lease on somewhere to live, start applying for jobs. Then get your husband to submit that info.

OP, I don't see any way around you moving back solo to establish domicile.  Have you actually ever lived in the US?  Have you been filing your US federal taxes?

You will need to open an account in the US and also show some kind of intent or plan of where you will reside. Look into renting an apartment/house and see if you can get a lease set up.

 

CapitalOne will let you open a bank account online but you need a US address. Without a US address, you will not be able to do much of anything regarding establishing domicile. If you can't use a US address of a trusted friend of family member, you may have to physically move back to the US or at least visit to set up a living arrangement and then US that address. Once you're in the States and have an address, you can also apply for a state ID and register to vote.

You never said if you have been doing your taxes. 

 

Like everyone said, you need a trip to the US and get all affairs in order. If your visa is denied, you'll have to start over and you at looking at another 2 years.

I agree with the advice given. 
Just FYI: my husband also used his voter registration for absentee ballot as evidence, which helped. But he had also maintained his bank account and we have a kid.

 I'm also trying to transfer a larger amount to the US. Maybe it will work.

We did this twice.  The cost is ruinous.  This has to get done way before you approach the embassy.

 

 

1.  You do need a bank account.  I’d try a completely online bank like Ally.  Nothing shows patriotism like parking assets at home.  LOL

2.  You need to get to the US and get a drivers license.  Means you need to get on same family member’s car insurance.

3.  Register to vote.  Same address.

4.  If you dont have a US job or $100k cash, your beneficiary needs a sponsor.  
 

All much easier if you move to the US, start working, petition from here.

Sorry I didn't respond earlier.  There has been good advise given already on what to do to show you are establishing domicile.

 

I haven't come across many posts about Moldova.  It seems they are being more strick than some other embassies.  

 

You can try some online banks like Chase or Capital One and use your uncle's US address.  As a last resort, you may need to fly to the US and get things sorted, as others have said.
