Does our US citizen baby need any additional documents to enter the US for the first time?

Hello everyone, we finally received our interview date for the 25th of this month and we have a baby together whom is a US citizen and has her US passport, but has lived with her momma in her country of birth (Cuba) since she was born  (2 years). Our visa interview is for my spouse's visa only since our baby is a U.S. citizen but our baby has never entered the US before. My question is, since our baby has never lived in or entered the US before, does she need any additional documents other than her passport and birth certificate so that she can enter ? Thank you for any help

Just her passport

Just the passport, unless there are additional COVID related documents needed.  Nothing more in terms of ID or proof of Citizenship.  Birth certificate could be helpful as proof the child is traveling with the natural parent.

Not sure about Cuba. But in Vietnam the baby needed a Vietnamese passport (although he had a US passport) to leave the country. Vietnam passport to leave Vietnam and a US passport to enter the US.

It's a good idea to check on this.  Some authorities don't like to provide an exit stamp on a passport that contains no entry stamp.  Silly, but lots of silly things are true.

I think it is similar. My baby will need a Cuban passport to exit cuba , and a US passport to enter the US. She has just never lived in or entered the US before so I wasn’t sure if she needed any other document to enter

Nope.  Just a US passport

Safe travels!
