So I should be fine right? Just need to tell the interviewer to amend my ds-260.

That is my view

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

So I found out that I got a reprimand for common assault. Is that something I should be worried about my visa acceptance?

If you have no conviction and only that one arrest as a juvenile, I am sure that will be fine. My only thought for real concern is that you did not reveal this initially on your ds-260. That could be interpreted is misrepresentation, even if you genuinely didn’t mean it as such. Hopefully, it will work in your favor, though!

I will make the consular aware of it before they get to it so its no misrepresentation at all. Mistakes happen all the time.

We also had responded on the ds-260 with "no" to the arrests question. My husband had a reprimand at age 16 he was told would be cleared in 5 years but returned as a No Live Trace. We requested a Subject Access Report and wrote a letter explaining the incident. He had his interview today at the embassy and was given a refusal as they said they needed more info from ACRO and to give consent to ACRO to release information to the embassy, which we did. Today we checked the case tracker and it changed from "Refused" to "Administrative Processing." I would get a explanation letter and the Subject Access Report, even then it might not be enough and it so we shall see what happens..They also kept his Subject Access Report at the embassy.

What was his reprimand for?

"Use disorderly behaviour or insulting words" He basically was defending a friend who had been assaulted by another person from getting arrested. Officer later came to apologize to his friend because they arrested the wrong person (which is what my husband was trying to tell him).

They won't decline his visa for that lol. You probably got the interviewer in their bad mood. I don't even know why they wanted to call up acro when you had the access report.

Yea, that is why the paranoia kicked in, we had thought we had everything covered. Either way we didn't amend the ds-260, I forgot about that to be honest.lol But it wasn't brought up today.

Did they ask you why did you select "no" when you have a record? I'm hoping I can tell them to amend it before they start asking questions.

Exactly. And I’m sure also, when it comes to cautions in the UK, it could cause confusion on whether that’s an arrest since we don’t have cautions in the US. I am sure if you’re honest, you’ll be fine! Please let us know how it goes once you have your interview.

My case is still with nvc so do I have to contact them?

Just had a read again on the ds-260 form and the question is "have you been arrested or convicted of any crime" which i answered "no" to. Technically I'm right because to get arrested I need to of been seized by legal authority and taken into custody which I wasn't and to be convicted I would of had to been found guilty in court which I didn't go to. So getting a caution/reprimand doesn't apply to the question right?

To be cautioned you have to admit guilt.
