While oci isn’t a second citizenship, given dual citizenship no longer automatically rules out federal service positions that require a security clearance, it would seem oci woukd nit automatically rule out federal service

if u care about a Federal job why not forget OCI /  u loose voting privileges among other privileges  in India with OCI

and the US passport allows travel to 186 countries with limited restrictions 

 

just wonder what is the benefit of OCI

The OCI card allows Indian USCs unrestricted visits to India without needing to apply for a visa every time. And since Indians are usually very attached to their families and visit their native land as often as they can, the OCI card makes complete sense.
