Messy

Maybe the 2 children are US citizens

Thx. Yes messy. At least no ROC is in the mix. Not sure if it would still be under scrutiny for N400?

A long way away and it should not but I have heard of such issues being questioned so not sure

May i ask how long you have been married? If it is less than two years,  there may be significant questions asked about  a bona fide relationship when you apply to have the conditions on the LPR status lifted in 2 years time

7 years and two kids together.  Caption says ir1.

Thx.  I am truly sorry for what you are facing right now. It must seem overwhelming ..  hoping your family in the US can help you and care for you.

Correct.

messy is the right word.. we used to live back there and for undisclosed reasons moved back here.. which later he wanted to move back to the US so i paid for the immigration and his passport and plane tickets ect.. just for him to fly there and text me that he no longer wants to be with me. Everything was fine earlier the same day..

he knows our kids have already given up their school spots and i gave up my job and home for us to move.. this was premeditated for sure.

There are certainly cases where the I 864 has been included in a divorce settlement but here you could just end up involving your family joint sponsor

Life might be better where you are, think twice before moving.  With custody after divorce, you might end up stuck in the USA until your youngest child is an adult.

If you really think moving to the USA is the best solution, I would head close to family/relatives to have a support system in place, especially if the schools are good in their area.

I'm not sure about your profession/qualifications, and skills, but most employers are in need for employees.  Do not settle for minimum wage.

Best of luck.

Take the time to think hard about it.

Rent a furnished accommodation, or Airbnb, for a month to find your bearings then.

I have no doubt you are willing to work hard, what I'm saying is that depending on the line of work, one could be working hard and not get out of poverty in the USA.

Education is hit or miss, depending on where you'll be living; something you wouldn't have to worry about in Finland.  Health insurance and childcare is also more accessible there.

Again, best of luck.

Yes we lived there before so i do know where i stand with that.. as for things being better in Finland, thats a definite no. Things are not better here despite the “free” healthcare and schools.. unfortunately. My kids will definitely be better off growing up away from here..

Oh, the best in the USA is great.  As for starting in a homeless shelter... yeah, that can be a hard traumatic start.  I trust that you a better plan in mind.

Had a good experience during my experience in Helsinki, but winters are long for sure!
