Question

I know we have to upload our proof online but my question is when you inserting  stuff on a word doc like boarding passes and passport stamps etc. what font  do you use so you can fit multiple stuff in one page . I been using 11 but that be too big. Like when you sizing stuff on the page.

You have to play around with it. You also do not need to cram everything on one page. If it doesn’t fit, use more pages so it’s easier to read. I put boarding passes on one page, passport stamps for each person over 2 pages etc., Font size 12.

Ok I see make sense  cause I am starting putting things together and I got 6 trips total.   Did you just put stuff on word doc then converted to pdf

And  compress  the file not larger then 2MB?

you think each pdf should have a cover sheet to have different uploaded files

Example
Evidence 1 pdf

Evidence 2 pdf

Each file will have a cover sheet saying

Attach are  boarding passing, passport stamps
And places we been

Second pdf cover sheet
Attach are  gifts and letters we wrote to each other

Is this ok ?

The procedure you used is fine but email confirmation is not evidence of travel.  Boarding passes and passport stamps are evidence of travel.  Email confirmations are evidence you paid for a ticket, not that you ever used it to travel.

Are passport stamps even good evidence? My old passport has stamps but you can't see who the passport belongs to. Also frequent travelers encounter the issue where different countries will just stamp over old entry/exit stamps rendering everything illegible...

And boarding passes are printed on terrible paper so it's faded and name/date/destination are faded.

I suppose when your evidence is fresh (less than a year) everything is okay~ but after a year or so evidence of travel to the same destination is a little more difficult to prove.

That’s true that’s why I add bank statements to these trips. Do we just copy entry stamps not  exist?

If they are clear I would add entry and exit stamps... although I know for the US you don't get an exit stamp. So, the I-94 would be good evidence of entry/exit into the US.

Maybe not something that is relevant to your case. But, could help others who chance upon this topic.

Up to you but I personally would just label each item

Yes, that's a good choice.  Boarding passes are often clearer than passport stamps but many people have already thrown them away before they realize they are useful travel evidence.

Hotel receipts and, bank statements showing ATM use are also good evidence,  Usually people combine primary evidence with photos as secondary evidence.

Just to clarify, an I-94 only applies to foreigners entering the US.

Another example would be that a US Entry Stamp can substitute or supplement an illegible exit stamp from another country.

The effect of fading boarding passes can be avoided by scanning them before they fade.  Again though, use of boarding passes tends to require advance knowledge of the need to save and use them.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

Departure information provides evidence of how long you were there.  Pretty important stuff.

Here is my story

I made 6 trips to my husband country in South Africa. Was  marry last last year .haven’t file the i130 yet.

I am using word to add my trips. Like boarding passes , passport stamps and bank statements etc and receipts of places we been. I am add using word and each page I am adding stuff .

i am on trip 4 out of 6 and already  use almost 24 pages. By the time I finish adding all of them I predict that one file will have like 40 pages . Keep in mind we still have to create a different file for pictures and gifts and letters to each other.

Do you guys think It’s a good ideal to split those pages  into different pdf files.

like example

evidence of trip 1-2- one pdf file

evidence of trip 3–4- one pdf file

i predict by the time I finish I have like 9 different pdf files.

What’s the most files anyone use on one pdf?

Keep the number of total evidence pages to 20.  You are being too "wordy".  You made six trips.  You're married.  It's South Africa, not Nigeria.  Keep it brief and simple. Concentrate on "evidence" not "statements".
