Two Questions: Affidavit of Support and Expedition

I have a consular interview in Ciudad Juarez coming up in a few weeks and have two questions about it.

  1. My husband did an 864 Affidavit of Support for me back when I submitted my Visa application. But that was almost four years ago due to COVID and various other delays in the processing, and my husband's income is different now than what it was. Will I need to have my husband do a new 864 form? Or do they just expect me to bring the ones I already submitted?
  2. My husband and I got a notice a few months ago that said our case was expedited, but we never applied for the case to be expedited. Is this common? Does this mean that our case will be processed quicker? Or what does it even mean?

Yes, he should do a new I864 with updated information.  Not sure about the second question, but if you are scheduled for the interview in a few weeks, it seems you are getting close to the finish line.

Yes he needs to get that I-864 up to date immediately with current tax filing and updated I-864. Upload it and take copies to interview.

Expedite is moot at this point you have interview.

Has the affidavit of support been submitted to NVC, or was it submitted with the I-130 petition?
