Biometrics appointment missed due to being sick

Hi, I applied to remove the conditions on my residence and received a letter that I'll need to show up to a biometrics appointment first. I was sick at the time, so I called and they said they'll call me back to reschedule me, the call back may take a month. 

Unfortunately, I missed the call. 

 

Now they're saying they'll contact me again, and they can't provide a time reference for the next call back. 

Anyone else experience this?
