Expedite request for I-129F

I checked the forums before asking...

My fiance is living in Ukraine and with the recent escalation of tensions I was looking for a way to expedite our I-129F application. The USCIS website says to call them for an expedite request but all I can ever get is some stupid robo-prompt that just sends me to the same link I was at!

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm struggling hard here

I don't believe this escalation of tensions is a valid reason, at least, not for Ukraine.  There has been several escalations since 2014, this time it's just more severe.  But you can try.

A good place to keep tabs on latest developments is the Kyiv US Embassy website.

https://ua.usembassy.gov/

My wife's sister, nephews and friends are in Mariupol, which is less than 50km from the Russian border.  Life is going on normally there, except for COVID still being a widespread problem.

reasons to expedite a visa have to be hardship on the USC

not the intending immigrant

and so very very sorry for all going thru these times but  check out the following site which shows 27 countries with civil war,  territorial disputes ,  etc and understand why the immigration does not accept the immigrants problems

https://www.visualcapitalist.com/mapped-where-are-the-worlds-ongoing-conflicts-today/

and the following charts show countries with food and medical shortages and servere hunger

https://www.wfpusa.org/articles/60-percent-of-the-worlds-hungry-live-in-just-8-countries-why/

its a crying shame

The European Union and EU Council announced the visa liberalization for Ukrainian citizens on May 11, 2017, allowing them to travel to any EU member state without undergoing visa requirements. Moreover, Ukrainians were granted the right to travel to the EU for 90 days in any 180 days period.

I tried the embassy but they told me they can't do anything until the 129F is approved by USCIS.

I meant, keep tabs on news from the embassy about developments.  You cannot contact the embassy to request an expedite at this time.

As @JeanneAdil mentioned, a valid expedite reason is to address an emergency or hardship for the USC petitioner.  Fear of something that might happen is generally not a valid reason.  If war does break out, then you can expedite based on humanitarian aid for the beneficiary.  But this is only when there is a war.

Hey, I'm also a Ukrainian fiancée, we tried to expedite and were denied. Some other couples on the forum tried as well, they were also denied.

Forget about the US for now, even if your partner lives close to the current warzone / Russian borders. Legally fiancées are no one, USCIS/US Embassy will be of no help with this.

Have your partner pack an emergency bag, scan important documents & upload them in a cloud service shared with you, write down important phone numbers and addresses, have a plan where to go in case of escalation. It's the most you can do.

I've lost all faith in this process, so I understand the frustration. Hopefully your fiancée will be safe.

Unfortunately Immigration seems to be a heartless process for many of us (6 years to get ours approved)

so,  all here,  do understand

USCIS policies and guidelines give the meaning of the process for all of us

and say this"

Considerations of family unity, humanitarian concerns, public and national interest, and national security may differ depending on the specific waiver an applicant is seeking.

https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-9-part-a-chapter-1

so,  all expedite request are reviewed on individual basis and decided on by an immigration officer

and at this time ,  too many are trying for expedite because covid has made the process so painstakingly long
