Thank you for sharing.
I just got scheduled interview today for 9/19. But my I-751 is showing ready to be scheduled interview.
base on your experience, how do I know if it’s a combo interview or not.

Either give them a call, or otherwise prepare like it’s a combo interview, and get ready for civics and brush up on your I-751 forms.

Hi all,

I had my oath taking ceremony this past Thursday. It took just a little over 15 min. Super quick and easy!

It took 6 months from the time I filed N-400 to officially becoming a US citizen and getting that naturalization certificate. I’m  very relieved and happy!

For the ones still waiting, I hope you get updates soon!

No officer at the interview will give you certified copies of anything, because it does not yet exist. Should you have the oath ceremony scheduled the same day, like some few people on here did, then you might ask them, but ONLY after the pledge of allegiance is said at the ceremony. Nobody even gets it before then, it is handed to everyone after the ceremony of oath is over.

If you don’t mind me asking, what are you really needing the copies for? I’m a little confused.

Honestly idk what I need this for. I just read on here (VJ) to ask for certified copies at the end of your interview if you are approved?

Hi everyone, I had my interview today (3 year rule) and approved, yaayy!! Officer was not much friendly and silent actually, but straightforward. He asked me if we have any children, i said no but i am pregnant, he asked for proof of pregnancy, which luckily i had brought. On the contrary that most people say in VJ, he told me that they are expecting people to have babies and babies matter. I was expecting him to review our financials, and address, etc. but nope, once he saw proof of pregnancy, he was ok with the marriage stuff. He said there will be ceremony either friday or saturday so i am currently waiting my notice to be provided directly at the office :)

Good luck everyone!!
