Hello! Sorry if there's a better subforum for this, but was curious if anyone knew what vaccines were required for medical. I already know, of course, of the COVID-19 shot, but I was wondering if there was a list somewhere of the others needed. Interviewing embassy is Warsaw, if that changes anything.

Thank you kindly!

If the applicant is between 19 and 64 they will need the following:

  • Td or Tdap
  • MMR
  • Varicella (either shot or history)
  • Influenza (seasonal)
  • Covid vaccine

Are these all that are required when you go for AOS too or would there be more required then? Trying to get them all done.

I would think it’s the same

Cool thanks, and these are all things we can go to our regular doctor and ask for?

You can. You’ll still need a USCIS designated civil surgeon to complete the medical and sign off on everything

If you think you've been vaccinated previously but don't have a record of it, you can ask your doctor to do a titers test.  This will determine what you've been vaccinated for and what you need.

Happy stabbing! ;)

Huh?  They are applying for a visa.  Did you mean panel physician?

I quoted someone else who mentioned AOS and I assumed they were in the US currently. Panel physician = overseas, civil surgeon = in the US.

Just now, IWander said:

Me thinks your assumption is wrong considering they are in the K1 process in Canada.

I can’t keep track of everyone. Perhaps it would have been better if they started their own thread as to avoid confusion. My point is still valid whether it’s a civil surgeon or a panel physician - you can get your vaccines at a ‘regular’ doctor but a panel physician or a civil surgeon are ultimately the ones who sign off on I-693 and DS-3025.
