Admit Until Date I94

I am currently in the US on a B2 tourist visa. The I94 form has an admit until date on it, does this mean I would have to be clear of the US 2359 the day before that date or you have until 2359 on the date listed to exit the US?

Eg Admit until date 8 Apr 22

Do you have to leave by 2359 on 7 Apr or 2359 on 8 Apr.

Also if you are travelling internationally but have a domestic leg in the US first when would you actually leave the US? From an immigration perspective.

Many thanks

This on your example. Note that don't try to take last minute flights. A minor delay or postponement of flights for any reason will make you out of status.

Domestic flight isn't leaving the US for sure.

With the number of flight delays and flight cancellations in the US these days, you are playing with fire.  Best to plan to leave a few days before I94 expiration.  You really need to ask yourself if the extra time is worth the chance of losing your B1/B2.
