Joint filling Form I-751 (pending) while final divorce done

Hello everyone, I have a question regarding my form I-751 (pending). I tried to renew my conditional green card last January 2021 jointly together with my husband. Unfortunately, our marriage was going down hill and he file for dissolution of our marriage.  My question is our court date will be next month February 2022 to finally end our marriage. I have an upcoming initial interview on March 2022 for my I-751 but my problem is we are already divorced by that time. Should notify uscis that our marriage is dissolved or should I wait for my interview date to tell the uscis or the immigration officer on the day of my interview ? Please give me some advice to those who encountered this kind of situation. Thank you.

You can wait until the interview and switch to a divorce waiver.

Bring all the evidence that your marriage was entered in good faith and don't forget the divorce decree.

Thank you for your reply. Do I need to get a lawyer about this ? How about if our marriage is finally dissolved then some of the evidence I submitted when I filed my removal I can’t longer provide because we already remove each other joint bank account, insurance. But I still have our pictures together, tax form that we filed jointly before, proof that he co sign my car and car insurance that he still with the account. Is that going to be enough proof that our marriage is enter in good faith ?
yes, I will bring the final divorce decree.

You do not need a lawyer.

And if you have copies of what you sent, bring them. Plus anything you didn't send.

The only copy that I can’t bring is our joint account and health insurance because we already removed each other on that. Do I need to write a letter for what happen to our marriage and bring it to my interview date ?

No, you can explain in person.

If they need something else, they'll issue an RFE.

You can but it is not necessary.

Just inform the interviewing officer at the interview.

Okay. Thank you so much.

It would be a good idea to bring a written request to convert your joint i751 case to a i751 waiver case based on a bona fide marriage ending in divorce. You should make the request in writing at the interview.

Bring all evidence you enter into marriage in good faith as much as you can. Evidence that you try to salvage the marriage (like marriage counseling), if you are on good terms with your ex you could get an affidavit from your ex spouse indicating the marriage was in good faith and it just did not work out.
