Congratulations!! Wishing you both a wonderful reunion and start to your life together.

:)

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

-Qur'an, Al-Infitar, Surah 82:1-5

Jen, I thought I'd give you an update...

I think I posted that Rome said they had not yet received Hicham's file. So I emailed Casa Wednesday and I got a response this morning. They said they actually mailed the file by "diplomatic pouch" 2 days after his interview! And they still have not received it in Rome. By tomorrow's date, it will have been 4 weeks since it was sent! #######!!!!

Fortunately Casa included the # of the diplomatic pouch, so I emailed that to Rome acknowledging that it does take time to log these files in, but that I wanted to make sure that the pouch had not been lost in case a trace needed to be started. Inshallah, they will let me know that at least it has arrived.

How nice would it be if they did pick up the file that they would just carry it over to someone's desk and process it! Wishful thinking...I know!!!! :(:crying:

I think they go by the date the application was received. The processing times that I have seen for Rome, say that they are currently processing applications received in December. So, if they don't log it in until, say next week, we could be waiting a whole 6 more months!!!!

The whole process just makes me want to vomit!
