Hi all, can you tell me if I need I-864 or I-864EZ. I'm an F1 student, currently not working. I'm only receiving some fellowship from my university at the moment. I'll graduate in December this year. However, I might find and accept employment on campus between summer and December 2022. I used to be a TA for 6 years until last August. Do I need to file I-864EZ because I'm not employed at the moment and I will rely only on my spouse's income?

Thank you!

Are you adjusting status based on marriage? If so, your spouse, not you, fills I-864. If spouse doesn't make enough, he/she gets a joint sponsor who fills their own I-864

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.
