I call it “The one with the stinky towel”.

And to think she was calling people “naysayers”.

I wonder what happened with Terry. Last login was June 2015. She was getting cold feet from the whole story. Yeah, no wonder.

Me too!! That whole story seems so made up especially when the kid was brought over. I dont know how the child could get thru immigration. When we brought my step daughter over to live we were questioned for almost an hour to be sure we had the right to have her. At least i got a good laugh out of Terri

I'm still reading though this Epic Tale. 

I'm a fan of this post mostly because it includes photos. Haven't finished reading all 172 pages but it's got everything you want out of a VJ love story.

After enjoying both topics, I think Terri was a Troll.  No way   In fact, "she" may have been an experienced VJ member who just decided to have some fun!  No way a kid can just go with her with only a passport.  Different surnames, different languages, don't look alike, no legal paperwork, etc., etc.  The airline would never board either of them.  Pure fiction.

One that comes to mind for me is the fiancé of guy who was coming to the US on a K1, posting on here asking for help because her fiancé had problems with his visa.. Her fiancé was approved for the K1 visa just fine, and even flew to the US with no problems. But when he went into customs and was promptly asked by the CBP officer when he was going to get married, this 'genius' decided it was a good time to joke around and replied, "I don't know, maybe I will, maybe I won't." He was then denied entry and sent back to his country.

 

To say she was ticked off of his actions is an understatement.

We should do like an election, "Best threads of all times" and then do sub- categories:

-Most argumentative OPs (those that you explain to them why something would not work) and they'd tryyyyyyyy very hard to convince you why they're right and you're wrong.

This is actually a really useful cautionary tale as to why people shouldn't joke around and at the border (in any country.)
