FYI having about 13k in your account can be accomplished if you pull those funds from a credit card or borrow from elsewhere. It does not prove anything.

 

Like several comments before this one, read the instructions and follow the poverty guidelines that were provided.

Are you going to trust an immigration lawyer over what is written in black and white?

 

The USCIS/NVC forms have been simplified in a way to allow almost everyone fill them out without seeking any assistance even from this forum much less a lawyer.

 

There are so many things wrong with the level of fund that lawyer told you that I can fill a page with. I will stop at that.

Thanks for the time to reply. I do feel it was a bit of a silly statement aswell. Was just asking to make sure. As it wouldn't make sense anyways since the person can just spend that money right away. How they make it sounds far more important.
