I just got an RFE requesting a copy of my birth certificate, our marriage certificate, and my most recent taxes. Maybe they wanted the 2021 tax year since I sent the application in early January, shortly before tax season, so I guess that I'll do my taxes and send them along with other copies of the previous tax documents that they already have.  I sent a photocopy of our marriage certificate as well as an original copy just to be safe, and I sent a photocopy of my birth certificate. I guess I'll send another copy of my birth certificate and maybe I should send the original too as long with some sacrificial doves and other copies of the marriage certificate that they already received.
