90+ days since interview approval, and no sign of oath

Hi all,

I interviewed for my N-400 last October at the Fairfax, VA field office. I was approved on the spot, and decided to pursue a name-change during the interview. The immigration officer told me that it would require a judicial oath ceremony, and that the approximate wait time would be 6-8 weeks at most. This is my 12th week of waiting.

I contacted the USCIS multiple times to submit requests that did not help me at all expediting the process. My district court in which I am supposed to have the oath was also oblivious as to whether I am in line for the oath or not. The Tier 2 officer who is supposed to contact me after my recent communication with the USCIS has not called for a week now.

Like many of you here, I am frustrated and am asking for help. The oath ceremony is the last step I have to go through for my citizenship, and I would really love to know how I can speed things up at this point. My GC expired last Sunday and I really need to start recruiting for a job after school which I am finishing this spring.

Thanks guys!
