Did anyone gets aproval from nvc?

We got a request for another document last week which was submitted a few days ago so to the back of the queue again for us. Should hopefully be approved around start of the month. Only took 2 weeks for them to review it from when docs were initially submitted.

Bummer.  We're expecting DQ (...or RFE...) this week.  Care to share some detail on what else they needed?  Was it for the AOS or IV?

So when I read the required files for AOS it said one form was needed. I dont remember what it was called. They then requested the W-2/1099 which my husband told me shows any extra income (investments etc) which he doesn't have. Weird they requested that since his main income is way higher than what is required. Is what it is though.

Yeah we submitted NVC docs on 21st Feb 2023 and all documents were approved on 8th March 2023 except our marriage certificate. They said we should get it issued by correct authority. We don't know what else they were looking for because our marriage certificate was already issued and signed by the marriage officer of the district as per guidelines. We expained them same in caption and uploaded same document again on same day. Hoping to hear something back in 2-3 days. fingers crossed and praying to god.

Heard back today, no DQ yet.  They needed a copy of divorce papers from previous marriage and the AOS needs some more supporting documents.  More detail here.

We have same problem here too they need the termination of past marriage of a petitioner.

My question is,is divorce decree is required for the petitioner at nvc stage cause they didn't requested before?

2.And the other question is that if all document we uploaded said  accepted with a green check mark, only we got case fe note in the message meaning that all document we uploaded is accepted except the fe note?

3.how to resubmit the new requested documents plsshelp cause we r going through same situation.

Thank you🙏

I don't know.  I have marriage termination documents for 2 marriages.  They only requested documents for 1.  I sent both, just in case. These were the same documents uploaded for the I-130.  I don't really care why they are asking for it, it is easy enough to just upload.

I imagine looking at hundreds of cases every day, it is difficult to see the people behind the documents... All one sees is black & white like the letters in an endless stream of documents.  I don't fault these immigration officers for missing 1 page stuck to another.  Even if its entirely electronic, it has to be a hard, thankless job, and the customer is never happy.

The "ACCEPTED" means that the document has been added to the case file.  Upload the requested document and click "submit documents" again.  Everything else will still say "accepted" but the new documents will also appear in the list and say "submitted".  Then you wait again.

You will repeat this until you are documentarily qualified.

This is my understanding of the process.

Hope this info helps.  Good luck.

Thank u for ur response

So I saw add documents in both the petitioner and aplicants name so did we have to add the new doc on the petitioner side?

Yes, i believe thats correct.  If the case note specifies the petitioner's marriage termination documents, upload it on the same tab where the other AOS stuff was uploaded.  If the case note specifies a document needed for the applicant, upload it on the tab with the other IV stuff.

At least that is my understanding of it.  Good luck.
