My wife & daughter i130 case got approved today. Thanks God. PD was 26th of Jan 2022

Amazing! Congratulations!!! Very happy for you.

Looks like they decided to make us JAN 2023 applicants wait 13 months and then approve all I-130s all within month lol.

It has been. Congrats IRFUN!!!

All the best for you and your family!

Likewise!

Just in case anyone's wondering, the Processing Time tab started showing "taking longer than usual" about 1 year after my PD.
I was approved roughly 15 days after the expected time.

I guess now I need to wait for the NVC email.

Hii guys, as i mentioned before my PD jan 15 CSC, we were approved feb 10th and case got sent to NVC on feb 17th, how long should it take to receive the welcome letter? Has anyone else received it?

Check your inbox properly you must have received an email from National_Visa_Center@state.gov

with title Notice of immigrant visa case creation.

This email must be having your NVC Case number as well as Invoice ID Number.

Hi, I have not received the email from NVC yet, but here's my timeline so you can compare notes;

2022-02-05 : PD / NOA1 / AR1

2023-02-17 : AR2 (also an "I-130 Approval" in Documents tab)

2022-02-20 : "Case approved" on status page.

2022-02-22 : "We have taken an action on your case" email from USCIS (I just received this a few minutes ago.)

Have not received an email from NVC yet.  I estimate in the next week or so, based on other posts.

Hope this info helps.

hi guys I have a question since we are all just about at the NVC stage, what years will you be using for most recent tax years, since technically 2022 taxes aren't due until April 15 2023, will you use 2021, 2020, 2019 ? I heard sometimes they send RFE for doing that and suggest to file current taxes and resubmit papers, im just wondering what you guys put ?

I would say if you already filed your 2022 tax return then go ahead and submit with the others. Good luck

Is this really true that we will get RFE if we didn’t submit 2022 tax return ?
we have submitted 2021,2020 and 2019.
My husband will file his taxes around march end.

yes I have not filled 2022

Okay

my husband is actually trying to file for an ITIN for me and defer his taxes until October. By that time my ITIN would be ready and then he will file the taxes. This is the plan as of today he is still discussing with his CPA and then decide.
