There is no average. It could be hours and it could be months.

no one can predict how long it’ll take even after it changes to actively being reviewed

11/17/2016: Got engaged
11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box
01/12/2016: NOA1

Yes, but I mean people who got their approval nowadays after their files were under active review for how long was it? Now I don't see people getting approved right after their first active review like they were 3 or 4 months ago .

What process are you pursuing? AOS or Consular?

Hello,

We filed our i130 on May 20th and it is been under active review for 98 days.  What is the average time for active review nowadays? It's in Vermont SC.

Thank you.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

We are in the first stage of the process waiting for USCIS approval to our petition.

Which process? Is your spouse inside or outside the US?

I guess this is Consulate.  You will just have to relax. You cannot jump the queue

My husband is outside the US.   We have been waiting more than 8 months now since we filed our petition. I know Vermont SC is processing May petitions now and because our petition has been under active review for 3 months so just hoping we will get some good news soon.

You will get more detailed responses if you post on the sub forum for May 2021 CR/IR filers.

Our I-130 was approved 4 hrs after it changed to "actively being reviewed".

There really is no exact science to this at all. It is a pure draw of luck

Thank you.

I see you got your NOA2.

Did you file the K3 or did you just file the I-130?

Seeing a couple more Vermont cases with I-129Fs being approved.
