Why this time frame ? Any specific reason?

Unless you're Brazilian too. In that case you obviously stay as long as you want.

Oh I get it now! I’m Brazilian too and American

Yes, when the petition progresses to the National Visa Center (NVC) you will have to provide an I864 showing you can financially support your spouse.  If you do not meet that requirement, you will have to find someone else in the US (a citizen or green card holder) to co-sponsor and fill out their own I864/I864A.  You also have to show you have a domicile in the US.  That being said, many US citizens do reside overseas with their spouse until it is time for them to apply for a US spousal visa.  Every county has their own immigration laws, and someone planning to do this has to follow the laws of that country.

Good Luck!

Actual circumstances make a difference in answering your question.  Now that we know you are both a US Citizen and a citizen of your husband's country, we know you are allowed to visit as long as you want.  However, you will still need to either qualify financially (keep working) to sponsor him, or have a qualified joint sponsor.
