I-129F to move things faster for I-130

We didn't get any RFE's for the I-130.  I didn't upload my wife's Divorce Decree at the NVC so after they reviewed everything they asked for that which delayed DQ by 3 months because when I first submitted they were only 30 days to review.  When I submitted the Divorce doc, it was up to 80 or so days to review.

Lucky no RFE at USCIS.  I, despite telling the guy at the fingerprint place that I needed a specific PRC, had an RFE for my PRC.  The fingerprint guy was new and said he'd check with his supervisor to ensure they'd get the correct one.  Clearly, he did not and what I got was incorrect.  That cost me an extra 89 days, 22.5 hours before it was approved and sent to NVC.  At 90 days you can send an inquiry to USCIS.  Coincidence that it was suddenly approved?  I think not.

I-130 was approved in 70 days

nothing to lose: I-129F for K3 is free

Did you wait till your I-130 was "actively being reviewed" or just filed it after you received receipt? I filed online and wondering when I should do this

we did not wait. 

Our I-130 was approved 4 hrs after it changed to "actively being reviewed"

You must have filed expedited? Are you saying that you filed I-130, filed K-3 right after, got the "Actively being reviewed" and then "approved" 4 hours - all in 4 months!?

There is no expedite at the USCIS stage.

 

This is our timeline:

Filed I-130 August 23rd.

Filed I-129F September 8th

I-130 actively reviewing November 1st

I-130 approved November 1st

Seems I need Copy of the I-797c which I don't think online has?

we did file online and the copy of the I-797C is available right away.

If you filed online, check on the right side under documents and you'll see it, just like the picture shows below
