Hi Everyone,

I was just counting the number of days I was outside USA in last 5 years. It comes across as 515 days. What should be the safe bet to apply. Is 515 too much days outside.

COntinous Resisidence: I maintained my continous residence, I worked for my US employer all the time and my employer allows to work remotely (even from other countries) and I had my salary credited to US account only. I have my DL and my credit card and bank statements are of USA. Just wanted to check 515 days too much? Any thoughts will be welcome

One can be physically out for total of 900 days within last 5 years and be still eligible for N400 as long as you maintain continuous residence.

No issues. Very likely you won't be asked about continuous residence since you have not stayed abroad for more than 6 months at a time.

You’ll be fine if you file April 8, 2022.  You might run afoul of the 3 month residency rule if you file sooner.

no i plan to file in April itself..

Not at 12:00:10am though. Wait a week in.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.
