I mean I submitted the case today. So it can take 2-3 months? Then the procedure is that NVC coordinates an appointment in US Embassy and before that I need to program  a visit for the medical exam?

We are also wondering this. I haven't seen timelines for visa interviews by consulate, but we have been DQ'd as of early February, and are wondering if anyone can provide their timelines from DQ'd at NVC stage to Visa Interview. Thanks!

I saw a yt video yesturday of an immigration lawyer  saying that once NVC approves the case it can take from 2-4 months to cordinate an interview. Its bad not to know because my spouse has to resign her job with an advance notice of minimum 2 months because of her benefits that were achieved during several years. What I really want yo know is NVC approval process time

at least 3 months after submission of documents, that's how long it takes NVC to get to review the documents

Hi, did you get the welcome letter from NVC

Yes, I recieved the welcome letter in 2 days after recieveing email from USCIS ," We have taken action un your case". In 2 days I reciente NVC case number etc. I filled everything and submitted it already.

I am only waiting for the NVC to approve it and cordinate my spouse's interview. I wanted to know how long can it take for these two steps.

I don't know if I was too lucky, but they say it can take up to two weeks. That sane day I paid both fees and started filling it up. I already sent it back to NVC. I did require to come here and ask several question and thanks to all the people here I believe I got did it correctly.

Does anyone have an idea if NVC gets back to us quicker if we have incomplete requirements prior to the actual review or is that the actual review already? We completed the DS260 and civil docs Jan 7 and on Feb 2 (less than a month) we received a follow up correspondence from them asking for a missing document (overseas police clearance). We sent it to them the following day but haven’t heard from them since. Was the initial correspondence the actual “review”? Also, if I submitted an additional document does this mean I will start the queue all over again?

Has anyone seen movement from NVC lately?  My I-129f was approved on January 21 and NVC still hasn't received my file.  4 weeks now.  That seems a little out of the norm based upon what I was seeing on this site.  Yes, I know the trends say something different, but it seems like everything is at a standstill for last few weeks.  Also, the approval from USCIS expires after 4 months.  I don't understand how we can wait 60 days for them to receive, etc.  Doesn't seem to line up.

Thank you.  I wonder if they work on one type for a couple of weeks and then switch to another type?  I'm not seeing much movement on the K-1 visas that start with I-129f.

NVC considers the date of the last document submitted (AoS or civil docs) as the official submission date.

They review all documents at once and provide feedback at once (either DQ or RFE).
