Hello

Today I received an email stating that my appointment date was already scheduled and that they sent me notification on January 4th, the thing is the following, I did receive an email from the embassy on January 4th but the email said that they would send me notification when appointment date was available, nothing else, no appointment letter, no nothing. Has anyone been through a situation like this, suggestions will be much appreciated!! Thanks in advance!

You need to make the appointment.

The email we received says "Please present a copy of this letter on the day of your appointment." Is a print out of the email not going to be good enough?

I’m not 100% sure my friend, they do ask you to bring a copy of this appointment letter to interview, I think it won’t be enough with printing an email and not the actual letter. By the way, I’m cuban, the US embassy here is close so we have to go to Guyana for our interviews, that’s why it is critical for us to take all the documents needed and to be 100% sure you have everything perfect, if you miss a document or something they ask for, you have literally no idea when or if at all you’ll have another chance of getting an interview.

You should call and ask, so you can make sure that you really have an appointment date and if that letter they sent you is enough to go to the consulate for your interview.

Yes I think I’ll call tomorrow, but the thing I’m trying to explain is that they didn’t send me the appointment confirmation letter that I need to go to interview even though they say they did🤷🏻‍♂️
