On the 15 March 2021, the USCIS  received  my Petition  for a K1  Visa  and assigned my Case to California Service Center.    I received  the  NOA1  on 6 April 2021. Since then it has been 315 days  I haven't received any update.  I'm  an Active duty Service Member; after i submitted my application,  I received orders to relocate  and I'm currently stationed aboard  a Naval Ship in Japan.  In this  situation, is my case eligible to be transferred ?  if yes, where to?   I have no idea what to do and I did send an inquiry because I think my case is out of normal processing time. I received  no explanation on why my case is taking too long however,  they just  responded reminding me that they received my application on the 15 of March2021.  I saw in this forum that there are folks who filed in March 2021 in CSC and  have already  interview date.  That is why  I think  my case is skipped  and wanted to know if  that is possible, and  what to do?  reading all the comments it looks like this process is very stressful and painful. Please assist . Thank you all

My NOA1 is March 4 and I am at 326 days of waiting now. I understand how much the waiting sucks, but if it’s any consolation know that you aren’t alone and there are a lot of others who have waited longer than you (so you haven’t been skipped or forgotten).

There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to the order they are processing the applications, though, which makes it really frustrating.

I've heard before military deployment may be grounds for an expedite. Someone else on here may be able to better assist, though I think in those cases they involved an imminent assignment. Not sure if your situation changes because you're already there. Your waiting right now is, unfortunately, normal; I don't think any March filers have an interview yet, though about 30% have NOA2.

Thank you for your service, particularly in this stressful time, btw.

I believe with deployment orders, you may be able to expedite.  Have you tried the USCIS military help line?   There are others on VJ who may know more about this.  I'll ask a mod to move your post to the military forum.

You're deployed or you PCS'ed oconus? You could have asked for an expedite before but since you're already gone there's no reason to expedite now cause who is your fiancee supposed to marry in the states if you're not there? 😉😁

At this point you can only inquire online about being outside normal processing times if you're outside.
