Considering Hungary is in the EU, the former is a safe bet.

 

You do raise a good point. An EU member the size of Ukraine, with levels of corruption exceeding Hungary and Greece would have been quite the handful. Arguably Putin missed an opportunity. Had he let EU absorb Ukraine, he would have had a subtle yet more powerful level to influence the EU. 
 

And it isn’t like the CIA wants the EU to get too powerful either. So there was an opportunity for Putin and the CIA to align their interests.

Recall it was Trump who was the only American official pointing out that the EU was over dependent on Russian energy. I know the CIA was not happy when he said thay.

The OSS/CIA has a great track record in manipulations that bring profound change, starting with goading Japan to attack Pearl Harbor. Maybe a better approach would have been to tell Japan if stops raping and killing its Asian neighbors, the U.S. will ship its oil. Keep in mind that Japan’s conquest of Asian British Empire was doing the CIA a service.

Venezuela was a major oil producer before WW2, back then it was them and the US that were the big boys. They still have major reserves and the demand is there.

 

I have never come across a good account about what Japans plan was in China, Russia well they did try that and got a bloody nose. Pearl Harbour etc was to grab everything and make it difficult to get it back and do some sort of deal, which at least makes some sense even if it was a trifle delusional.

 

Anyway if anyone has a good source for China let me know.

Yes, I forgot one clear win for the CIA, their operations against Trump were wildly successful to the point they are creating a huge divide in the US.  One thing is clear, the CIA has only one interest, the CIA, and they could not care less if they destroy the world.  Stalin would be proud.

It is  apparent that while Lincoln, Wilson, FDR, Truman, Ike, LBJ, and GWB, were willing to fight to last American, their use of conscription (backdoor draft for GWB) did  not indicate they actually ran out of Americans. Simply visit places like Hiroshima if anyone has any doubt.
